Teenage sensations McFly were crowned the kings of the Smash Hits Poll Winners’ Party tonight after scooping five awards.

The pop-rockers capped a brilliant first year in the music business by picking up a clutch of gongs in front of thousands of fans at the ceremony held in Wembley Arena.
