You'd be better rewarded taking a bus ride around the neighbourhood than hailing this dilapidated taxi!

We meet suspended New York cop Fallon, curiously a big Stateside star on the cult comedy TV series, Saturday Night Live, who finds himself in the back of Belle's cab (she being Latifah) chasing a gang of bank robbers; don't ask!

Taxis and their drivers, in real life, can be enriching experiences - let's face it, if you want to know what's going on in the world ask a cabbie - but this dismally unfunny effort knocks that argument.

Laugh? You'll wonder when to start!!

It is somewhat ironic that the director is called Story; he might have found a decent one before calling 'action'.
