Franz Ferdinand pull out of Potter flick

Scottish rockers Franz Ferdinand have pulled out of a cameo appearance in the next Harry Potter film.

The four-piece band were asked to appear as a gang of witches, called the Wyrd Sisters in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, which has just begun filming.

But the band has now cancelled, blaming scheduling difficulties.
