Stars remember Peter Ustinov

A thanksgiving service will be held today for the life of renowned actor and raconteur Peter Ustinov.

Ustinov, 82, died in Switzerland, where he had lived for more than 30 years, in March.

Friends from the world of film, theatre and television are expected to attend the service at St-Martin-in-the-Fields church in central London.

He starred in films including Spartacus and Death On The Nile and won two Oscars during his distinguished career.

But it was his gift for storytelling which made him such a well-loved star, delighting audiences around the world with his one-man stage show.

He was an even bigger star on the continent than he was in Ireland and the UK and had lived in Switzerland since the 1960s.
