Corr struggled with Irish accent

Andrea Corr had to undergo training to perfect her native Irish accent for her role in new movie 'The boys from County Clare'.

The singer has travelled around the world so much performing with group The Corrs, she has lost much of her Irish lilt.

She says: "I actually had to have some training to get the accent right. Over the years of touring and living in London my accent has got a bit muddled.

"County Clare is a very earthy rural accent, very broad, and my original lilt has been lost. I guess that's part of touring and being a citizen of the world; you end up needing pointers on how to sound more Irish."
