SATC star not surprised by Cynthia gay admission

Sex And The City star Mario Cantone isn't surprised his pal and former co-star Cynthia Nixon has outed herself as a bisexual - although he didn't see it coming.

Single mother Nixon shocked Sex And The City fans last month when she revealed in an interview that she had a female partner, and gay funnyman Cantone couldn't be happier.

He says: "I've known Cynthia for a long time but I didn't know this.

“You know this happens. I think it's very common that it happens to women later in their life because they discover it later.

"It's not even something that they're closeted about or they're fighting off. I just think it's something that happens sometimes because women are a lot more emotional than men.

"I can't speak for her but sometimes it's not even that sexual. It's slightly sexual but it's much more emotional. It kind of bleeds into the sex slightly."
