Voices of soul voted off X Factor

Luton trio Voices with Soul became the fourth act to depart the live stages of TV pop contest The X Factor.

Divas Grace Campbell, 41, Hildia Campbell, 37, and Corene Campbell, 24, were voted off the talent show last night in favour of London boy band G4.

Viewers of the ITV1 programme consigned both acts to the final decision of judges Simon Cowell (pictured), Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh as they gathered the least public votes on the night.

Simon and Sharon disagreed on who should go, which left Louis to give an unenviable casting vote to Voices with Soul.

Sisters Hildia and Grace and Grace’s daughter Corene formed Voices with Soul six months ago after singing together in their church choir.

Their choice of song, on the night’s theme of “Discos and Divas”, Lady Marmalade, failed to hit the the right note with viewers.

G4 survive another week along with fellow hopefuls Tabby Callaghan, Cassie Compton, Rowetta and Steve Brookstein.
