EastEnders star in reported suicide attempt

Following reports yesterday that EastEnders star Christopher Parker was rushed to hospital, it was revealed today he slashed his wrists after taking a suspected overdose of paracetamol.

Staff at the five-star London hotel where he was staying received a frantic phone call from his £200 (€288)-a-night room and dialled 999. Medics found Christopher — the soap’s Spencer Moon — in a state of distress and immediately took him to St Thomas’ Hospital just 400 yards away.
