Caprice takes control

American model Caprice Bourret has hit out at stars who license out their names for merchandise - insisting she takes full control of her lingerie range.

The 30-year-old Texan claims she designs and oversees the production of all her knickers and bras.

She says: "I don't understand people like J.LO who license our their names but have no input into the making of the underwear. I do everything myself, which means that I keep all the money.

"Say an item costs 65 cents to make, and I sell it for $10 (€7.70), that's all the profit and it's all for me.

"So the business is going very well. We're about to expand into the USA, Germany, and South Africa."
