The Bridget Jones' Diary: The Edge of Reason star dated the Seven Nation Army musician for two years after they met on the Cold Mountain set, but they went their separate ways two months ago.

The 35-year-old says of her current love life, "Nothing very successful of late, I'm sorry to say! But I don't worry about it because I think you just can't predict when you're going to find that ideal someone. I'm not in a hurry. It'll just happen when I'm not expecting it."

Zellweger can't empathise with her character's dilemma of being torn between two suitors - Mark Darcy and Daniel Cleaver - but she would be flattered if the situation did arise.

She continues: "Relationships are always difficult, although I've never really faced the kind of problem Bridget has - but it could be a very nice problem to have!"
