Damon quits smoking

Matt Damon is urging movie-makers not to send him any more scripts which involve his character smoking cigarettes - because he'll never puff again.

The Bourne Supremacy star has recently quit his nicotine habit and he fears signing up to play a smoker on the big screen will kickstart his bad habit all over again.

He says: "I wouldn't smoke for a role. Not now. I smoked two packs a day for 15 years, and I just quit.

"I've quit a couple of times before, but the way I'm quitting now… it's really great. I'm going to a hypnotist."
