Lowe's show put on hiatus
Rob Lowe's new drama Dr Vegas has been put on indefinite hiatus by TV bosses - potentially marking the star's second failed show in as many years.
Bosses at American network CBS have not said the show is being cancelled, but many programmes never return from hiatus.
The show, which features Lowe as a house doctor in a Las Vegas casino, has ranked 53rd among prime-time network programmes for the season to date.
Lowe's previous series, The Lyon's Den, was a ratings disappointment last season for network NBC, which hoped the show would attract fans of Lowe's work on hit drama The West Wing.
