Weinstein eyes Neverland musical

Movie mogul Hatvey Weinstein is plotting a major Broadway, New York, musical based on Johnny Depp film Finding Neverland.

The Hollywood heavyweight - who co-owns production giants Miramax with his brother Bob - is eager to adapt the biopic of Peter Pan author JM Barrie for the stage.

Weinstein's spokesman confirms: "Harvey's considering it."

The film-maker has already scored success on Manhattan's legendary theatre strip - he served as producer on hit show The Producers.
