Hollywood hunk George Clooney has written a letter of apology to more than 400 hundred of his neighbours in the Italian village of Laglio for the chaos incurred during the filming of Oceans Twelve.

Scenes for the sequel movie were shot at the Intolerable Cruelty star's $12.6m (€9.9m) Lake Como villa causing streets in the village to be closed and hundreds of fans to swamp the area.
