Love must stand trial for assault

Troubled rocker Courtney Love has been ordered to stand trial on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon after her alleged victim testified in a Los Angeles court.

Kristin King alleged the former Hole singer threw a bottle and a lit candle at her after turning up at the home of the rocker's ex boyfriend Jim Barber in the early hours.
