Disappointed!!!

We have often come upon actresses completely devoid of the ability to act, and we have wondered how they still find work. Step forward, then, Murphy.

She plays, in the least convincing of ways, a wannabe TV star who gets a job on one of those awful 'My Wife Married My Best Friend's Cat' chat shows.

During which she also discovers her boyfriend is cheating on her.

Perhaps, as some critics have kindly suggested, there is a decent storyline buried in the rubble, but it's virtually impossible to spot. The theme of teen insecurities might have been awarded a more mature consideration; but by the time your grey cells have voted in favour of the proposition you are overwhelmed by a desire to do unspeakable things to the charmless and talentless Murphy and to tell Hunter and Bates to catch themselves on and avoid such rubbish in the future.
