Shyamalan's career inspired by Spielberg

Director M Night Shyamalan credits movie Raiders of the Lost Ark with inspiring his film career.

The Village film-maker saw Steven Spielberg's first Indiana Jones adventure when he was 12, and was so impressed by the movie's spiritual themes, he decided to make eerie pictures for a living.
