U2 to miss Glastonbury 2005

Irish rockers U2 have pulled out of performing at next year's Glastonbury Festival, because they'll be too busy touring.

The band - who are currently promoting their upcoming album How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb - were expected to headline the annual English music event after entering negotiations with organiser Michael Eavis.
