Kiedis first got high aged four
Rocker Anthony Kiedis' first experience of marijuana came at the age of four - when his father blew pot smoke into his face.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman was walking in Los Angeles with his dad, John Kiedis II, and quickly felt like he was "dreaming".
Kiedis, now 41, writes in his forthcoming autobiography, Scar Tissue: "When I was about four, my dad and I were on one of our outings, walking down Sunset Strip, when he suddenly stopped and blew some pot smoke into my face.
"We walked a few more blocks, and I was getting more and more excited. Then I stopped and asked, 'Dad, am I dreaming?'
"'No, you're awake,' he said.
"'Okay.' I shrugged and proceeded to scamper up a traffic light like a little monkey, feeling slightly inebriated."
Kiedis, who became a heroin addict in the 1980s, claims his father dealt huge quantities of marijuana and later became a big-time cocaine dealer in Hollywood in the 1970s.
