Washington and Del Toro's film off?
Denzel Washington and Benicio Del Toro's hot new movie has reportedly been cancelled because it's too expensive to complete.
The pair were set to team up in Tru Blu, the real-life story of infamous 1970s drug dealer Frank Lucas, but Universal Studios bosses have axed the project after firing director Antoine Fuqua, according to American magazine Entertainment Weekly.
Washington was set to play Lucas in the film, with De Toro cast as the cop on his tail.
Both stars have reportedly been paid their pay-or-play salaries for the scenes they've already shot, according to the new Entertainment Weekly article.
