Knowles wants to 'slow down' after next album

Beyonce Knowles is keen to take another break from girl group Destiny's Child after the release of their forthcoming album.

The Crazy In Love singer prefers to adopt a pragmatic approach to any future plans with the world-famous band as she wants to "slow down" after their tour in September 2005.

Knowles says: "We don't know when we're going to do another album. Who knows if someone gets married? Wants to have kids? Wants to take a five- year break?

"I think we're gonna slow down a little bit after making this record, 'cause we've been working nonstop since 1997."

Knowles' hesitation to commit to any plans stems from her exhaustion after their album Survivor was recorded in 2001.

She comments: "I definitely feel like we've sacrificed things. At the end of the last Destiny's Child album three years ago, I was so overworked I couldn't…I had to start saying no to certain things.

"That's when I learnt balance. That's when I learnt you have to take a vacation twice a year…"

The Texan trio are about to release their fourth original studio album Destiny Fulfilled next month.
