Reeve's ashes to fly in the wind

Christopher Reeve's widow Dana plans to scatter the late actor's ashes in the wind following his cremation earlier this week.

The 52-year-old Superman star passed away on Sunday after suffering heart failure, due to an infection from a pressure wound - a common ailment which affects paralysed people.

Following his funeral service in Pound Ridge, New York on Tuesday, where 100 family members and friends mourned the actor, Reeve's body was cremated.

Minister Frank Hall says: "Exactly where the ashes will be scattered hasn't been determined yet."

A memorial service is being planned from Reeve's former school, New York's prestigious Juilliard School Of Performing Arts, where the actor met long-term friend Robin Williams.
