Fans boo Rod of stage

Ageing rocker Rod Stewart was booed off stage at his own gig on Wednesday night after he refused to perform an encore.

Stewart sang his old hits and covers from his Great American Songbook album at the charity concert One Night With Rod Stewart at London's Royal Albert Hall.

But after singing 26 songs, instead of the scheduled 29, Stewart left the stage and infuriated fans who paid $360 (€288) for their tickets.
