Thornton to quit - in 40 years
Hollywood actor Billy Bob Thornton has announced plans to retire from movies - in 40 years time.
The Monster's Ball star, 49, made the decision to step away from acting after receiving his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on October 7.
He says: "You start thinking, 'Gosh, I've been around a while. I'm sort of a veteran.' It's an honour to be on Hollywood Boulevard with Jimmy Stewart and all those guys.
"It starts making you rethink your life and I've got a new child and my boys and everything. So I've decided to give up this stuff - in 40 years. I'll be quitting this and Ashton Kutcher's gonna take my place."
