Hayek swoons as Brosnan crush comes true
Salma Hayek remains thrilled she landed a movie role opposite Pierce Brosnan because she's had a crush on him since the 1980s.
The Mexican beauty, who stars alongside the Irish actor in the upcoming film After The Sunset, admits she's had her eye on Brosnan since he appeared in the TV series Remington Steele.
She says: "When I was living in Mexico - and I didn't even know I was gonna be an actress - I used to have a crush on him in Remington Steele. That was my dream man.
"Little did I know that one day I'd be in Nassau, Bahamas, on a beach kissing him. He's gorgeous and he's a gentleman and he's a lovely human being. There is no age for that kind of quality. It goes on forever."
Brosnan, married to Keely Shaye Smith, also has a few flattering words for Hayek. "When she's onscreen there's no one else. It's not too shabby going to work with Salma."
