Navarro to help struggling addicts with new book

Rocker Dave Navarro has decided to help others with the release of his autobiography Don’t Try This At Home. He's donating the profits to struggling addicts.

The former Jane’s Addiction guitarist has written the tell-all about his past wild life and now he plans to do something positive with the cash the tome earns.

Navarro says of the book: "It's about my experiences with drug addiction and coming out of it and finding real joy in my life and real inner peace.

"The proceeds of that book go to an organisation called the Musicians Assistance Program, which is an organisation that helps find treatment for struggling addicts."
