Minnelli backed by former bodyguard
Liza Minnelli's former bodyguard has rubbished claims she beat her estranged husband David Gest and one-time chauffeur.
The Cabaret star has been accused of violence towards Gest, during their marriage, as well as members of her staff.
But Chuck Zito, who worked for the Cabaret actress until the late 1990s, says she maintained a calm, non-violent stance throughout their time together.
Zito tells PageSin.com: "I've never ever seen her raise her voice, let alone beat a man. I could just look at those two guys and they would run away."
