Yun Fat happy to stay at home

Action star Chow Yun Fat will never take up residence in America even though he spends a lot of his time working in Hollywood.

The Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon star hates the American way of life, American food and will never apply for a green card residence permit because he much prefers living in his native Hong Kong.

The 49-year-old told Chinese newspaper The Sun: "It's not that I can't get (a green card), I've never wanted to apply for one. I can't stand speaking English everyday and certainly can't stand the different lifestyle there, let alone the type of food.

"I go to the US for work only and leave immediately when I finish... for me (in Hong Kong)... I have friends everywhere, why should I get a green card?"
