Pop superstar Janet Jackson has been asked to perform at Thursday's Music of black origin (MOBO) Awards - on the condition she keeps her breasts well covered.

The event's organisers are anxious after the singer cost American TV station CBS a record $585,000 (€478,000) fine for flashing her nipple during a performance with Justin Timberlake in February's live Super Bowl broadcast.

Staff at London's Royal Albert Hall plan to prevent another "wardrobe malfunction" by placing a large bra in her dressing room, reports Britain's The Sun newspaper.

An insider says: "We're thinking about leaving a thick, sensible bra as a reminder to Janet to keep her nipples under wraps. Though if she did do a flash it wouldn't cause as much trouble over here as it did in the states."
