Aguilera fronts sex documentary
Christina Aguilera has been picked as the choice to front a new MTV documentary about sexual abstinence.
As part of the cable TV channel's Choose or lose programming, which is aimed at giving teenagers more of an understanding about political issues and US laws, the pop star returned to her native Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to interview kids about sex.
Her documentary, 'Sex, votes & higher power' - which airs next week - also gave the star the chance to speak to youngsters who have joined the Silver Ring Thing drive and promised to remain virgins until they wed.
In one awkward scene, the pop star asks a young virgin couple, Gordo and Julie, if they'd go as far as "dry humping", asking if "touchy feely, over clothes" is too much.
The red-faced youths tell Aguilera they merely "hang out", kiss, hold hands and cuddle.
Aguilera jumped at the chance to front the film, which also deals with sex education, abortion and domestic violence, after reading up on some shocking statistics.
She says: "Every year one in four sexually active teens gets a sexually transmitted disease and more than one in three young women gets pregnant before aged 20, almost always by accident."
