Kylie Minogue has resigned from her role as the face of a children's charity, after the organisation was hit by a series of financial scandals.

The Australian superstar, 36, and her father Ron have quit from telephone counselling service Boystown, which has struggled to recover from monetary crises - including a fraud investigation into former chief executive Br Paul Smith.
