Minister adds praise after Toronto success
Arts Minister John O'Donoghue has added his tributes to three Irish film-makers who enjoyed success at the Toronto International Film Festival this weekend.
The AGF People's Choice Award went to writer/director Terry George for "Hotel Rwanda". The Discovery Award went to "Omagh", co-produced by Irish company "Hell's Kitchen International" and the third major Toronto prize, the FIPRECI award, was awarded to "In My Father's Den", a drama co-produced by Irish company "Little Bird".
Minister O'Donoghue said: "It is a great honour three Irish associated films have caught the public imagination at a prestigious international film festival."
