Cullum and Church collaborate

Jazz singer Jamie Cullum is desperate to team up with opera beauty Charlotte Church - because he's convinced a mix of his piano playing and her vocals will produce a hit single.

Church is currently working on her first pop album, but Cullum is confident he can persuade her to turn her talents to jazz.

He says: "I will be working with Charlotte Church. I am going to make her into a jazz star.

"We want to make an album, but if we don't manage that, it will definitely be a few songs.

"I want her to sing along while I play a few instruments - she's got a great voice."
