Teen idols, the Hanson brothers, confirmed they were headed for Ireland today, some eight years after MmmBop shot up the charts.

The trio, who came to fame in their early teens, put their concert audiences down to the strength of their internet site.

Hanson sold out the first 10 dates of their last acoustic tour through their website, with their EP also sold solely through their website and concerts.

Hanson decided to produce and independently release their latest album, Underneath, by themselves and parted company with the producers who worked with them in their fledgling years.

Taylor said they wanted independence in the writing process.

Hanson will be playing their only Irish date on their Acoustic Underneath Tour on November 9 next in the Temple Bar Music Centre.
