Usher wins on the treble at World Music Awards

Usher took home three awards at the World Music Awards in Las Vegas as he was honoured as the world's best male artist, best pop male artist and best R&B artist.

Hollywood star Michael Douglas handed singer Celine Dion the Diamond Award for being one of the top-selling female artists of all time.

Hip-hop act Outkast were also big winners at the ceremony, taking three awards.

Norah Jones was a notable winner, with awards for world's best female artist and best pop female artist. Other winners included Avril Lavigne, Alicia Keys, Kanye West and Maroon 5.
