Nicole tops Australian rich list

Nicole Kidman is Australia’s richest young woman, according to a magazine list of the country’s top earners aged under 40 released today.

The Oscar-winning star of The Hours and former wife of Tom Cruise has an estimated worth of €87.8m, according to BRW magazine’s young rich list.

Kidman came in fourth overall and was the highest-ranked woman on the list, which was topped by 39-year-old mobile phone magnate John Ilhan, whose worth was put at €171.3m.

Supermodel Elle McPherson and pop star Kylie Minogue were tied in third place on the rich women’s list with €33.7m each.
