Gallagher helps the homeless

Rebellious rocker Liam Gallagher has shown a softer side to his nature, after being spotted comforting a homeless man near his north London home.

The Oasis frontman was visiting his local pub The Queen’s with pals when he noticed the beggar, a regular fixture in the capital's leafy Primrose Hill area, was in a state of distress.

According to onlookers, Gallagher invited the man to join his table and then bought him a meal, while offering advice and counseling.

The singer reportedly told the man, who has been homeless for eight years to "ditch the drugs and stuff".

When the beggar left, Gallagher shook his hand and said: "It's been an honour," before rejoining his pals.
