Rapper Twista injured in van crash

Chicago rapper Twista, known for hits such as the number one Slow Jamz and the current So Sexy, was injured in a van crash that killed a member of his security staff.

Chicago rapper Twista, known for hits such as the number one Slow Jamz and the current So Sexy, was today injured in a van crash that killed a member of his security staff.

Twista, 30, whose real name is Carl Mitchell, was treated and released from a hospital after the van in which he was riding veered off a Pennsylvania motorway in the early hours, police said.

Another man in the van, Arthur Dixon of Chicago, died after he was taken to a hospital. Five other men in the van were hurt, none seriously, police said.

The van was headed from New York to Chicago.
