Decca signs up Cliff Richard

Cliff Richard is to release his latest album on the record label that turned him down years ago.

The veteran pop star failed in 1958 to sign a recording deal with Decca - which famously overlooked the Beatles – but went on to become one of Britain’s most successful solo singers, notching up a string of hit singles over five decades.
