Kylie axes Scissor Sisters songs

Pop superstar Kylie Minogue has scrapped songs she co-wrote with the Scissor Sisters - because some of the lyrics are too personal and touch on her private life with French lover Olivier Martinez.

The 36-year-old singer feels the tracks she produced with Jake Shears and Babydaddy could be too easily linked to her relationship with Martinez, so she's ditched them from her forthcoming CD.

A source says: "There's every likelihood the songs with Scissors Sisters won't make it on Kylie's next album.

"She's loved working with them, but she can't decide about the tunes - she's not wild about them to tell you the truth.

"Kylie's really anxious that people don't think her songs are about her and Olivier, or any aspect of her private life.

"She's worried that the two they've done contain lyrics that could easily be misinterpreted."
