Man jailed for attacking MacGowan

Irish rocker Shane MacGowan is breathing a sigh of relief after an English scaffolder has been jailed for three years for attacking the former Pogues frontman.

Liam McInerney, 23, from Forest Gate, east London, punched and kicked the Fairytale Of New York star in the toilet of a Belgravia, central London bar.
