Denzel buys himself a Rolls

Hollywood hunk Denzel Washington is marking his 50th birthday this year by buying himself a $315,000 (€256,000) Rolls Royce Phantom.

The Oscar-winning actor does not celebrate his half-century birthday until December 28, but could not resist getting his hands on the car earlier.

He says: "I took a Phantom on a test drive and I thought, Why not? Stop cheating yourself. This is your life. Get what you want."

But the Malcolm X actor insists he's normally a modest guy who spends most of his time wearing free clothes he's picked up on movie sets.
