Standard heist fare fails to impress

Steal stars Stephen Dorff as Slim, the leader of a gang of robbers who use their skills at various activities like rollerblading, rock climbing, and parachuting to pull-off a whole host of daring heists.

They seem to enjoy their daring getaways more than the cash they manage to acquire and plan one last big heist to set them up for life.

Two things stand in their way; a police commissioner and Slim’s relationship with Karen (Natasha Henstridge) one of the detectives chasing the gang.

Apart from a few decent action scenes Steal is best left on the shelf.
