Friends keep Knightley grounded

Keira Knightly says her friends help to keep her feet on the ground despite her success.

Apparently when she tells them about her Hollywood experiences, they usually just laugh at her.

"The only one they ever wanted to know more about was Johnny Depp - of course," she added.

She also spoke about how living in Los Angeles puts a lot of pressure on women to look good. She believes that "actresses shouldn't be supermodels, but normal women".

She says she can't understand why fellow actresses would have plastic surgery as she thinks she has to be able to express the finest nuances with her face, in close-up - which can be difficult after too many botox treatments!

Revealing an imperfection she doesn't like about herself, however, the young actress said she loves fashion but hates shopping, as she never finds things she wants straight away - and then gets impatient.
