Veteran actor Harvey Keitel and his wife Daphna Kastner are celebrating after welcoming their first child into the world.

Kastner gave birth to a baby boy, Roman, who weighed in at 3.6 kilograms (eight pounds, two ounces) at a New York hospital early yesterday, reports website PageSix.com.
