The Streets' bassist has rescued rock trio Muse from cancelling their performance at Britain's V Festival - by replacing injured bass player Chris Wolstenholme. Pictured: Streets frontman Mike Skinner.

The British band – Matthew Bellamy, Dominic Howard and Wolstenholme - disappointed fans by cancelling the last three dates of their American tour after Wolstenholme was rushed to hospital with a fractured wrist, but are thrilled Morgan Nicholls has agreed to play with them at the eagerly-awaited show next weekend in Stafford.
