Erasure return with new album

Eighties chart-toppers Erasure have announced details of a new album and tour for 2005.

The album Nightbird will be released in January and is to be preceded by a single Breathe. The new record marks the first new LP from Vince Clarke and Andy Bell since Loveboat in 2000.

The duo will also be releasing a live DVD on October 25 called The Tank, The Swan and The Balloon Live! From a 1992 show at the Manchester Apollo venue as part of their Phantasmagorical Entertainment tour.
