Grant brings Khan to meet father

Actor Hugh Grant has raised suspicions about a future wedding by taking his socialite lover Jemima Khan home to meet his father.

The Love Actually star, aged 44, drove Khan, aged 30, to Cornwall, England, for an intimate dinner with his dad James, who adored Grant's recently-divorced partner.

A nearby diner says, "It was a little bit awkward at the start but they were soon laughing and joking.

"Hugh's dad really hit it off with Jemima, and Hugh seemed pleased about that. He had obviously arranged the dinner to give the old man a chance to check out Jemima."

Khan ended her nine-year-long marriage to former Pakistan cricketer Imran Khan, aged 51, in June.
