Norah Jones is finally getting used to touring, after confessing she has always struggled to perform live.

The pianist's first album Come Away With Me thrust her into the spotlight, but Jones admits it has taken her time to develop confidence onstage.

Currently preparing to kick off the US leg of her world tour to support her second album Feels Like Home, Jones says, "Performing live wasn't that great the first time around. But I think there's a learning curve to it, and now I feel a lot more comfortable."

She is even developing the confidence to abandon the safety of her piano seat: "I used to think I looked like a marionette when I stand up. But now I'm standing up more and wearing skirts more."
