Church slams ex-love in new song

Teenage superstar Charlotte Church has blasted ex-boyfriend Steven Johnson in a new pop song, in which she sings "I never loved him".

The 18-year-old Welsh beauty split acrimoniously with Johnson in December last year after the couple had spent two years together.

Now Church has decided to unleash her hurt on new song Casualty Of Love, taken from her first pop album, due out in October.

In the song, Church sings: "Oh what I didn't know/I never loved him so...It was no love at all/In my mind, just an obsession with him/What a waste of time."

A source says: "It (the new album) is very different to what has been heard from her before. People will be surprised."
